Trading Style

Indoor trading area

The Kings Head is in good decorative order and has a traditional feel throughout. On the ground floor a large lounge bar comprises beautiful flagstone floors, a feature fireplace and beamed ceilings. A mixture of upholstered seating and bar stools can accommodate 40 covers. A smaller bar is currently being used as a café, serving coffee and cake throughout the day with seating for a further 20 covers. On the ground floor there is a function room and skittle alley which is very popular with the local games teams, as well as for private events. This area has the potential to accommodate up to 60 covers and can be separated by double doors. A beautiful 30 cover restaurant with beamed ceilings can be found on the first floor, next to the well-equipped trade kitchen. A dumbwaiter ensures food service to the bar and lounge. The letting accommodation has recently been refurbished creating three en-suite rooms.

Outdoor trading area

A large enclosed patio area to the front of the property provides seating for 30 covers and another to the rear provides seating for a further 20 covers; a smoking shelter is also found in this space. There is potential to develop these areas with the addition of potted plants, hanging baskets and shrubbery. The car park is easily accessed with two entrances and has space for approximately 20 vehicles.

The Kings Head has a strong community feel and currently appeals to local residents with the traditional offering of sports and games, such as skittles and darts.
