Trading Style

Indoor trading area

The George and Dragon is made up of two main open plan trading rooms; a bar and a rear lounge. There is also a small dining room at the rear of the pub. The bar has its own bar servery and comfy seating that accommodates 20 guests, whilst the rear lounge area, again with its own servery, has a mixture of loose and fixed seating arrangements for 35 covers. There is a small room at the rear of the pub which has been used historically for private dining with approximately 20 covers. All of the rooms are traditionally decorated and in good condition. The catering kitchen is located off the dining area and is suitably equipped. Currently the pub holds entertainment on a monthly basis which is performed in the lounge and is very popular with the locals.

Outdoor trading area

The George and Dragon has fantastic outside trading areas. The pub benefits from having a large car park to the side which holds 30 vehicles, this area can be further developed to hold family fun days and other outdoor events. There is a patio and a smoking solution to the front of pub with bench seating for over 20 customers. To the rear of the property is a lovely secure grassed beer garden that contains children’s play equipment including a slide and climbing frame which will keep the children entertained while the adults enjoy a relaxing drink.
