Leek is a market town and civil parish in the county of Staffordshire on the River Churnet. It is situated about 10 miles (16 km) north east of Stoke-on-Trent and has a population of approximately 21,000. Leek is accessible via the A53 road, which connects it to nearby towns such as Stoke-on-Trent and Buxton. Additionally, the A520 provides connections to other nearby areas Pub Layout The main entrance leads you into a spacious one room operation, which is split into two trading areas, which is serviced by one central bar. There is a relaxed seating area, raised from the main trading space which has a mixture of fixed and loose tables and seating. The main trading space has an array of fixed and loose furniture and leads through to a games area housing two league size pool tables attracting in league teams. Externally there is a car park for approximately 10 vehicles.

Trading Style

The Prince of Wales is predominately wet led with the potential for a simple food offer. The communal aspect of this site is key given it’s location.  There should be a strong rhythm of the week which is marketed well to engage with the locals. This should be demonstrated in the way of themed nights, karaoke, quiz, meat raffles and darts and pool nights.
