The White Heather is a popular venue for live music featuring mainly pop tribute bands with occasional rock music. Trading Style

Indoor trading area

A large open plan room with a mixture of wooden flooring and carpeted areas throughout, the property is in fantastic condition and has a modern feel to it. There are plenty of bar stools as well as large areas for vertical drinkers. The whole area is served by an L-shaped bar that has a generous amount of scope for marketing materials and ample shelf space. To one end of the trade area is a games section with two pool tables that both have plenty of room around them for watching the games. Further to this there is a dart board with an oche and several gaming machines. There is a small raised area that is carpeted and can cater for up to 15 people with a large screen for sports viewing. The entire trading area is very well laid out to support regular live music events. The well-equipped trade kitchen is ready to support a snack menu or even a traditional pub menu.

Outdoor trading area

To the side of the pub is a raised patio with an incorporated smoking solution and wooden bench seating for 20 customers to relax with a drink. There are also several picnic style benches at the front of the pub. A large car park to the rear accommodates 20 vehicles; it is also utilised by the businesses next to the pub.

Regional Manager Comments

The current customer base is varied and includes residents from the local area and workers from the nearby industrial estate. Live music and entertainment is extremely popular, together with live sports and pub games such as darts and pool; the pub currently has teams in both leagues. There is potential to introduce a snack menu to attract new trade from further afield. Due to this being a high volume operation, we are looking for an experienced wet-led operator. As the new publican you will ideally have previous experience of running successful pub games and a varied entertainment schedule.
