We are now looking for an experienced local publican who is skilled in operating a large business with multi revenue streams. A publican with catering skills with the capability of introducing a simple pub menu to make use of the trade kitchen on site would also be an advantage.

Private Accommodation: The private accommodation is spacious and is accessible from both the pub and a separate entrance. There are four bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen.

Indoor trading area

The pub is large and offers extensive space to operate as two separate trading areas, with the addition of bifold doors the well sized bar area and separate function room can be split offering two types of customers base at any one time. The bar area is decorated in modern style and is a popular spot for live sport and pub games including a pool table and a dart board. The function room which is available for hire is large and offers separate space for buffets, live music and charity events. There is an adequately sized trade kitchen which with some investment by the publican will encourage additional trade.

Outdoor trading area

There is an external seating area to the front of the pub that houses approximately ten picnic tables, this is a popular spot during the summer months. There is also a grassed area to the side of the pub which could accommodate a children’s play area.
