£7,000The York Hotel is a traditional pub in the beautiful thriving town on the outskirts of York. Its picture-perfect position in the market square is perfect for attracting custom as the town is heavily supported by locals and visitors alike. Easingwold is a fabulous place to operate a pub and the York Hotel is a traditional wet led pub with opportunity for a good selection of beers and cask ale. The pub is popular for sports viewing and has lots of opportunity to develop daytime trade. Stonegate Pub Partners are interested in speaking with a new or experienced publican with a passion for quality and sports entertainment.
Private Accommodation: The private accommodation is spacious and comprises three bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom, all of which are in good condition. There is private parking to the rear of the pub with space for one vehicle.
Indoor trading area
The York Hotel is a single room pub served by a classic wooden bar servery to the front. At the rear of the pub there is a separate games room that would suit teams such as darts, dominoes and pool. There is also a first-floor function room that is suitable for many occasions including coffee mornings, private parties and meetings. There is plush blue perimeter seating which is lined with dark wooden tables and blue stools, altogether providing around 30 covers. This is a cosy and nostalgic space with attractive ceiling beams and an eye-catching fireplace with exposed brick. Live sports are shown in the pub, with several television screens dotted around and many of the decorations are trophies and photos of local teams.
Outdoor trading area
To the front of the pub is a section of cobbled street where there are several picnic benches that look out onto the market square. The pub has no official parking but there is plenty of space for customers to park in the market square.
Regional Manager Comments
The York Hotel is in a fantastic position, looking out onto the market square in the centre of Easingwold, a stunning town in Yorkshire. Trade can be drawn from the affluent locals who would appreciate a quality drinks offer, as the pub already has a good reputation for cask ales. This is the perfect opportunity for a new starter who is looking to take on their first pub and grow their experience in a beautiful part of the country or an experienced publican with knowledge or running low volume pubs.
