The Crown is a traditional community wet led pub located on the High Street of Ashby, a suburb of Scunthorpe in the county of North Lincolnshire. This popular pub offers a two room operation with bar, lounge, large beer garden and a car park to the rear of the premises. With a good reputation for providing live music the pub is a local to many of the residents of Ashby and surrounding area. The pub has a separate bar and lounge. The bar offers a pool area and dedicated darts throw and the large comfortable lounge has a stage area ideal for providing entertainment. The lounge could also double up as a private function room for additional income opportunities. To the rear of the property there is a large beer garden with ample bench seating and covered smoking shelter.
The Crown would appeal to either an experienced wet led community operator or indeed to a new starter. The Crown is already a well-established business that gives potential candidates a great base to build on. There lies an opportunity to grow the business with the introduction of some new and varied entertainment, maintaining and growing home sports teams and running regular charity events.
The site currently takes on average £8,500 but has the potential to achieve over £10,000+ a week by targeting extra food and drinks sales.
