The Marquess of Exeter is a beautiful thatched village pub/restaurant with letting bedrooms, set in the heart of the East Midlands in the beautiful Rutland village of Lyddington. The Marquess of Exeter is situated close to Rutland Water, and the counties of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire. Rutland truly is an undiscovered gem; with its rolling hills and stunning scenery.

This is a high quality food business with good quality letting bedrooms. A small bar area situated next to an open log fire leads through to the restaurant of some 60 covers. There is also a small meeting room that can hold upto 12 people. The letting bedrooms are housed in a separate building to the rear and are decorated to a good standard. Further to the rear of the property is a huge beer garden / events space that could be developed for many different uses.

The Marquess of Exeter has built a great reputation for its quality food, drink and accommodation offer. The ideal candidate needs to be an experienced operator(s); confident in delivering a fresh high quality food offer. They also need to excel in customer service and appreciate what good looks like, someone who will welcome guests and offer an enhanced experience you don't get in chain hotels. A strong marketeer who set out their offer and communicate it beyond the boundaries of the village
