The George and Dragon is situated in the quintessential village of Alrewas, an affluent village located south of Burton Upon Trent. The pub benefits from a mix of locals, visitors, and tourists to the nearby National Memorial Arboretum. The George and Dragon is a fantastic village local - boasting an open plan trading area with little snugs, 40+ food covers internally and with a great sized garden and car park externally. The pub also has three letting rooms. The pub is in immaculate condition and offers the ingoing operators a real opportunity to take this business to the next level. There is also 3 bedroom private accommodation.
  
We are looking for an experienced community operator(s) with extensive experience of food operations,  that can grow the food appeal and sales. The new partner needs to be masters of social media and a real passion for people wanting to immerse themselves into a fantastic village to become the hub of the community = A real locals superhero (cape optional).
 
The site currently takes on average £14,000 but has the potential to achieve up to £20,000 a week by targeting extra food and drinks sales.
 

What’s in it for you?

  • A guaranteed annual retained sum of £25k, released weekly.
  • 22% share of weekly sales, excluding VAT.
  • Low ingoing costs, deposits starting from £5,000 and £360 legal cost. (*deposits can vary dependant on business – ask us for more details*)
  • Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License.
