The Lewis Arms Hotel is at the heart of the community in Tongwynlais which is situated just off the A470 North of Cardiff and very close to junction 32 of the M4 with easy access into the centre of Cardiff. The pub is also close to Castell Coch which helps attract tourists to the village who often park at the pub and walk to the castle and then enjoy food and drinks on their return.
The customer base comprises of villagers along with tourists and it is also popular with cyclists who stop off for a break.
The pub has regular Entertainment with a weekly quiz, Open Mic Nights and monthly live music. It also hosts community events too and has outside seating both at the front of the pub and in the raised beer garden at the back of the car park.
