A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Cash Operations Department. As a Cash Operations Administrator, you will be part of the Cash Ops team that handles all functions relating to opening and closing accounts, change of agreements and settlement statements. You will regularly liaise with solicitors, debt collectors and internal stakeholders. 

You will also be working alongside Our managed Estate’s Team, reconciling the P&L.

This role is based at our new Head Office in Wolverhampton, training will be provided and once trained the role will become hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 at home.

Have you got what it takes? 

As part of the Cash Operations Team, you will check and process ingoing and outgoing settlements and create new customer accounts. There will also be an element of Credit Control & reconciliation work.

You will also have these responsibilities:

  • Assist the Treasury Department with allocating Business Rates and Council Tax Debits, credits & refunds.
  • Responsible for the set up and cancellation of Business Rates and Council Tax accounts.
  • Assist councils with our pub agreements and our tenants.
  • Insolvency Service enquiries
  • General administration duties whilst answering email and telephone queries.
  • Assist Statement of Business with reconciling the P&L.
  • Processing of payments into the Business.

What you’ll bring to the table – You do not need to have previous experience, we will provide all the training! You will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels across the business and externally.

  • Be highly organised with an ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Good IT skills, understanding of MS Excel and Word.
  • Able to demonstrate good level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision.
