Job Description

We're looking for a General Manager for a beautiful pub in North Yorkshire. Salary up to £44,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package. 

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Owl Hotel in Hambleton and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Owl is a beautiful premium food pub located in Hambleton, Selby. Located in close proximity to some of the most picturesque parts of North Yorkshire. 

Comprising of a fabulous bar & restaurant area, large function room and 22 hotel bedrooms, The Owl offers an experienced General Manager the perfect opportunity to showcase their skills in a multi-faceted business. 

Currently trading at an average of £26,000 per week in net sales, The Owl delights guests with our Signature menu offering. 

Situated just a stone's throw from the A63, The Owl has great links to York & Leeds and is just 4 miles away from Selby Abbey. 

To be successful at the Owl, you will be a passionate leader with a track record of success through engaging with the local community, inspiring your team & delivering a great guest experience time & time again. 

Management accommodation is available in the form of a 3 bedroom flat.
