Front of House Skills Trainer

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about people development, is personally driven, and strives for greatness. The skills trainer role will involve a wide variety of activities, including delivery of training sessions that range from on-site training to classroom-based delivery and one-to-one development sessions. Covering predominantly the north of the UK.

You should enjoy a customer-based role and thrive on building relationships within teams, be a confident public speaker and a natural coach. The nature of the role means you may be required to work evenings and weekends on occasions as per the needs of the business.

As a Front of House trainer every day can be different, some key responsibilities will be:
  • Writing and delivery of a variety of training sessions to a consistently high standard and provide support to our partners
  • Deliver personalized 1 on 1 training and mentoring with operators and team members.
  • To identify and confidently address anything below the expected standard within our partners site
  • Coaching & developing teams to help raise the standards we deliver to our guests by training our operators to be the best in the business
  • Working effectively with other functions across the business creating pubs to be proud of

What you’ll bring to the table –

  • A professional & conscientious approach to work with the ability to work in a team or on your own
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry with a strong interest in creating pubs to be proud of through driving standards or service -  experience of working in hospitality is desirable
  • Confident communicator at all levels
  • Comfortable influencing and challenging stakeholders 
  • Confident in use of Windows Office suite
  • Understanding and/or the curiosity to use and learn new app-based training systems.
  • Quick thinker and problem solver.
  • Able to travel nationwide (although predominantly in the North) and have access to your own vehicle.
