We're looking for a General Manager for a community driven pub in Scunthorpe. Salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Iron Forge in Scunthorpe and lead the team to success!

About the pub
The Iron Forge is ideally located in Scunthorpe, opposite an ASDA Superstore and a large housing estate.
This community, food led pub is a really well-zoned business comprising of separate bar, family and dining areas. It also benefits from an outdoor kids play area.
The Iron Forge sees great footfall, and there is a real opportunity for a guest and team centric operator to drive family visits as well as wet trade through rhythm of the week activities.
There is a strong team in place, consisting of a Head Chef, a long serving kitchen team and a strong FOH management team, so the next General Manager of this site can hit the ground running.
The pub is performing well, with a sales split of 60/40 in favour of food, and weekly sales of around £20,000, as well a recent 5 star EHO and record festive trading period. It's now ready for a General Manager who can take it to the next level!
