Communications Multimedia Partner - Nationwide

As a Communications Multimedia Partner, you will support the delivery of the Communications and Engagement strategy and work alongside our Internal Communications and Employer Brand teams.

You will be highly creative and always ready to listen and understand what needs to be communicated, so you can turn what you hear into a plan.  As Communication's Multimedia Partner, you will be turning plain messages into engaging content, such as animations, infographics and videos, to ensure we're delivering on our commitment to continuous improvement of team engagement and wellbeing, through effective internal communication to our people. With the skills you have to deploy, the key purpose of the role is to build effective communication campaigns, continually developing our digital communication tools and keeping on top of trends in the digital communications space.

This role reports directly into the Senior Communications Partner, and is a hybrid role with the expectation of 1 or 2 days a week in Wolverhampton (but with flexibility to attend meetings as required). As our Pub Support Centre is based in Wolverhampton, you must live within a commutable distance.

 

 Key Attributes & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with devising and implementing our internal and external communication strategies.
  • Developing inspiring and impactful internal communications campaigns and initiatives, including wellbeing, sustainability, diversity and inclusion and events.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to produce high quality, best-fit digital content.
  • Project management and delivery of key campaigns that support our strategic goals.
  • Creating and developing images and graphics to suit our communication solutions.
  • Evolving digital workplace channels, such as our Hub Intranet on SharePoint.
  • Seeking out news and stories from our pubs and Pub Support Centre and celebrate their successes through our digital channels.
  • Event management creative support, including producing Teams Live streaming events.
  • Align with and support our external brand so our people hear and help deliver it.
  • Proactively collating and analysing feedback from key stakeholders and end users, identifying gaps, and presenting alternative solutions.
  • Promote a culture of celebration across Marston's.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast moving, complex organisation with multiple audiences
  • Experience of graphic design and confident in using programmes such as Adobe Pro, In Design, Premier Pro and/or other digital design packages.
  • Video production with a creative eye with a fierce attention to technical detail.
  • The patience to work through big-picture change, and the knack for storytelling.
  • Strong organisational skills in managing hard and fast deadlines.
  • Artistic talent and a fresh thinker who is courageous to push boundaries to get the best result.
  • Expert eye for detail, producing top quality content and you know your stuff when it comes to spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Multi-tasker, with bags of energy to share. You thrive when you're getting your teeth stuck into a range of exciting projects at the same time.
  • Technically minded with experience of systems such as Poppulo/ Mail Chimp, Microsoft Teams and the production of Teams Lives, making sure the audience has a great viewing experience.
  • A 'people' person who has the confidence and ability to quickly build trust.
  • Effective managements skills, experience implementing process and managing stakeholders, external partners, and their expectations.
