                                                               Communications Multimedia Executive

As Communications Multimedia Executive, you will be joining the Communications and Engagement team, and we are the driving force of fulfilling our company's People Promise and the successful engagement across our teams, helping everyone to realise the critical role they play in delivering a great guest experience by creating Pubs to be Proud of. As a Communications Multimedia Executive, you will support the Senior Communications Partner to ensure our people are aware of and understand Marston's strategic goals and priorities. You will have real artistic flair and will enjoy turning plain messages into engaging content, such as animations, infographics and videos. Your role will be to work alongside the Senior Communications Partner to deliver on our commitment to continuous improvement of team engagement and wellbeing, through effective internal communication to our people.

As our Pub Support Centre is based in Wolverhampton, you must live within a commutable distance, as this is a hybrid role with the expectation of 1 or 2 days a week in the office (and flexibility to attend meetings as required)

 

 Key Attributes & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Communications Partner to implement our internal and external communication strategies.
  • Working on inspiring and impactful internal communications campaigns and initiatives, including wellbeing, sustainability, diversity and inclusion and events.
  • Creating content through effective multimedia methods, such as content, images, animations, or video, that support our annual communications plan.
  • Play a part in developing internal communication digital workplace channels, such as our Hub Intranet on SharePoint.
  • Collaboration with the wider business to seek out news and stories from our pubs and Pub Support Centre and celebrate their successes.
  • Take a proactive interest in communication and digital trends, ensuring continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Event management support, including producing Teams Live streaming events.
  • Attend meetings within the business to gather information on behalf of the communications team, and at these meetings provide advice and guidance on communication activities.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Experience of working in a communications role, creating engaging campaigns.
  • Technically minded with experience of systems such as Poppulo/ Mail Chimp, Microsoft Teams and the production of Teams Lives, making sure the audience has a great viewing experience.
  • Producing video's is regular request so strong filming and editing skills are a must.
  • Passionate about creating impactful communication campaigns.
  • A creative and fresh thinker who is courageous to push boundaries to get the best result and create fresh content.
  • A good listener who can communicate effectively with others.
  • Disciplined and can remain focussed on delivering what has been promised.
  • Expert eye for detail, you love producing top quality content. You know your stuff when it comes to spelling, grammar and punctuation –and you apply it.
  • Multi-tasker, with bags of energy to share. You thrive when you're getting your teeth stuck into a range of exciting projects at the same time.
  • A 'people' person who has the confidence and ability to quickly build trust.
