Revenue Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Revenue Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, to join our Commercial Team in ensuring the smooth operation of table capacity management and hotel bedrooms. 

Do you have good IT skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for generating revenue? You will join the dedicated team supporting over 575 pubs and 76 hotels, helping to manage the content on our online travel agent partners and play a key role in maximising capacity management of our table management system by implementing a number of the strategic objectives to support our wider business food and drink strategy.

The role would be based from our Marston's Head Office in Wolverhampton, three days a week and two days remotely. 

Have you got what it takes?

This is a role of two halves - Table Management and Hotel Management. 

Key objectives for each are:
Table Management 
- Check and audit the setup of the system across the estate to ensure brand standards are being adhere to, and the system is being always maximised
- Be responsible for the booking type setup within each format to maximise productivity and margin related to table plans and table turn management.
- Identify causes for errors and inconsistencies, monitoring usage and communicating effectively with AOMs to drive improvement
- Compile weekly reports for your key  stakeholders with relevant information to drive best practice and commercial advantage
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to  ensure clear and consistent communication of the Collins Table Management strategy is maintained.
 
Hotel Management
- Managing the marketing content including photos on all third-party sites - Booking.com, Expedia, TripAdvisor, Google - striving to keep our online content is at its best,
- Centrally manage all aspects of content using our Revenue Management System (IDeaS) 
- Manage all aspects of content for hotels using our Reputation.com guest feedback platform 
- Creating and maintaining rate plans for the sites which you are responsible
- Reviewing our revenue management system daily to protect profit through detailed analysis of usage and reporting findings   
for corrective action
 

What you’ll bring to the table – 

Spreadsheets and using excel, together with attention to detail is your day to day, and being organised is your middle name! You will thrive on variety and be able to operate efficiently while remaining flexible in a dynamic environment with the ability to act on your own initiative. You have highly effective written and verbal communication skills and can get your message across.

Customer focused with a positive 'can do' attitude is key. 
 
Experience in either a hotels/table bookings or systems background would be beneficial but not essential
Knowledge of booking agents such as Booking.com, Expedia or GDS would be beneficial
