Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Digital Product Manager to join our fast-growing Digital team at Marston’s. They will work alongside the Senior Product Manager overseeing a variety of digital products including websites, databases and directory listing tools.  

 

Working with all departments, third party agencies and stakeholders at all levels, they will ensure the delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring effective technical execution, adoption and measurement. 

On average you will need to work from the Wolverhampton office once a week. Other days you can work from the office, from home or within our pubs.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Product Manager in the delivery of digital product vision, roadmap and features specifically for; Websites, Digital Data, Ordering platform and Online Directory listing tool.
  • Ensure roadmap features achieve commercial goals and are delivered to time, quality, and budget.
  • Facilitate the gathering of requirements, definition of business benefits and work with technical teams to ensure clear scoping and delivery plans.
  • Maintain a structured approach to feature delivery, ensuring clear documentation, timelines and communication.
  • Work with our agencies to complete the migration of 1,000 websites to a new CMS, ensuring clear communication, adoption, and performance is delivered.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the website development roadmap, delivering improved KPI’s and adoption.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate effective feature delivery and ongoing optimisation.
  •  Continually track and analyse performance of all key digital products.

 

Skills/Experience required: 

  • Experience in managing Digital products focused on website development, website migration/re-platforming, integrations and data architectures.
  • Knowledge of web platforms, digital experience platforms and technologies 
  • Experience is digital tracking tools including Google Analytics 4 and ideally but not essential SE Rankings 
  • Experience working using agile methodologies in digital product development. 
  • Experience working with and developing consumer-facing digital technologies. 
  • Experienced in delivering commercially focused products for a fast paced, high growth, complex business, ideally in a retail and/or wholesale environment (but not essential). 
  • Proficient in successfully running cross functional projects with a commercial focus 
  • Experienced in running large scale projects. 
  • A hands-on leader with demonstrable experience of establishing and managing cross functional project teams.
