We're looking for a General Manager for a Blaina Wharf in Newport, South Wales. Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Blania Wharf in Newport and lead the team to success!

About the pub
The Blaina Wharf is a food-led community pub which has recently been refurbished to an amazing standard both inside and out. The pub currently trades at around £40k a week, 60% of which comes from food sales.
With the recent investment and a strong team in place, this pub is a sleeping giant and we estimate that sales of £45k should be achievable. The Blaina Wharf is famous for a great beer garden and a popular weekly quiz, and creating further reasons to visit will help to build sales.
We're on the hunt for a pub manager with a strong food focus, preferably with proven experience of delivering over 2,000 covers a week in a carvery site. Our ideal candidate should be sales focussed and be able to demonstrate a reputation for great guest experience.
