Job Description
The Gardeners Arms is a large community pub based in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. The pub boasts a large drinking and dining area that is split into zones along with a pool and darts room and a spacious beer garden and patio. There is also a large car park to the side.
The Gardeners Arms is a popular site and is the hub of the community thanks to its daily food offers, Sky Sports, pub teams and regular entertainment.
The pub is currently taking approximately £19,000 per week, however there is huge potential for the next operator (s) to drive the wet and food sales and increase the weekly takings.
We are looking for an experienced operator (s) with a proven track record of running a high turnover community site. Experience of delivering a quality live sports offering as well as providing a great entertainment programme through regular pub events (Halloween/Christmas etc) to music and charity events. The ideal candidate will know how to effectively use social media to drive the business forward.
- A guaranteed annual retained sum of £25k, released weekly.
- 22% share of weekly sales, excluding VAT.
- Low ingoing costs, deposits starting from £5,000 and £360 legal cost. (*deposits can vary dependant on business – ask us for more details*)
- Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License.
